Science Club

Bioscience Program's Science Club provides a forum for middle school and high school students to discuss current news articles on Biology, Medical Science, and Bioscience. Students will read provided reading materials before each meeting and share their thoughts with peers during the four-week session.

Besides promoting a love for Bioscience and introducing up-to-date knowledge in Science, the Science Club will make learning more interactive and dynamic. Through the course, students will develop interpersonal communication skills. The discussion will increase the students' retention of factual knowledge and improve analytical thinking skills. 

In many professional settings, speaking in a group is essential. Students will learn to speak strategically and confidently in front of their peers, which cannot be taught in a traditional school lecture format.
